Lake Orta with its enchanting atmosphere could be the perfect setting for an intimate wedding or a romantic elope. Not only! Its green hills on the lake could be fantastic spots for a bucolic and poetic session.
When I met Veronica and Simone I was stunned by their big love. You could see it in their eyes, gestures and words. They dreamed a country, fresh, pastel shaded and natural engagement shooting in an elegant, warm and welcoming atmosphere, a venue full of love, so I thought about Villa Pestalozza, an ancient mansion on Lake Orta hills. You can feel the scent of its history inside, passion of people who lived inside it, and good taste of who renewed it. Here you can spend some lovely time inside the enchanting rooms with frescoes on the ceiling or enjoy the sun in the garden under a big Pawlonia tree. I love this place with its corners full of charm. It is just simply pleasant stopping here and let that everything changes in poetry.
Giulia Pestalozza – villa owner – opened her doors and wardrobes to us. Veronica and I were just amazed by them! We took some time to choose a long liberty style necklace to go to a beige silk dress.
For the shoots in the garden Paola from La Piccola Selva floral designer prepared a romantic bouquet with country herbs, lavender, rosemary, and a touch of pink with lisyanthus. It was just like a little bunch taken from the meadow.
I have no words to describe how pretty was taking photos to this romantic couple. Their delicacy touched my soul.
After a couple of months these shots have a deeper meaning. In fact, right after the shooting sessioon, Simone proposed to Veronica. They got engaged and they are getting married in Spring!
