Mountains are to me like a big love, the kind that once you’ve found it you will never want to let it go. The kind that fills my eyes of wonder and my heart with joy and fun. So when Nora and Andrea told me about their passion for the outdoors activities like hiking and skiing, I started to imagine their engagement shooting in the muffled silence of the snow-covered mountains. I wanted it to be a fun moment, while slipping down the slope, and at the same time romantic, when contemplating a breathtaking view during the sunset.
I chose to set these shots to Mottarone because of the spectacular view: on one side you can see the Lake Maggiore, then on the other side the Lake Orta and all around the beautiful Alps.
My love for flowers is no longer a secret, so I asked for the help of Lizzy, the owner of the flowers shop Petalo & Sepalo, and together we designed a flower crown for Nora, composed by eucalyptus, anemones, red buttercups, white lisianthus and little ivory roses.
