I started my business as a destination wedding photographer then, over the years, I discovered portraiture and I fell in love with this kind of photography. During an honeymoon, vacation, family or engagement session I have the chance to get to know better the people that are in front of my lens and to tell something about their true selves. So photographing the connection between people and capturing these priceless moments in between has become one of the most important features of my business. I work to create timeless fine art images to be treasured as memories: delicate and intimate moments that can truly tell the story of a big love.
Ploy comes from Thailand, while Carlos is Spanish. They fell in love with each other once in Bangkok and from that day they became inseparable so, after a few years they decided to get married and to start living together in San Sebastien, in Northern Spain. They asked me to photograph their honeymoon session while they were visiting Italy. They firstly decided to take the photos on Lake Como, at the gorgeous Villa del Balbianello, where I photograph many couples and families, but then Ploy, going through the my galleries discovered the medieval village of Orta San Giulio and they felt that this was THE location for their shoot. So we met at the Sacro Monte di Orta San Giulio and spent a couple of hours together walking down the narrow lanes of this enchanting hamlet… I have traveled pretty much around Europe but I have to say that I have seen only a few places that have the charme of this village. Here there is quite everything that a photographer would need: the lake, a stunning lakeside walk, many picturesque corners, old fascinating buildings, a stunning sunset over the mountains, a lot of greenery and that kind of La Dolce Vita vibe that makes Italy so, so beautiful.
