This spring I traveled pretty much around my beautiful Italy. I’ve been in Florence, Venice, Sardinia, Sicily and Lake Como in less than a month having such an inspiring and motivating time photographing a international weddings and elopements. Today I’m finally at the office and I would like to share with you this engagement session I shot in Florence in May.
This couple wrote me few months ago asking to help them to organise what in Asia is called a prewedding photo shooting that consists in a couple session, shot about one year before the marriage in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. At the beginning they were willing to set the photo shoot in French Riviera, then they considered other Italian locations such as Lake Como, the Amalfi coast and Venice and ended up choosing one of my favorite cities ever: the gorgeous Florence.
I planned their itinerary starting from the historical centre of Florence. Piazza del Duomo, Galleria degli Uffizi, Piazza della Signoria and the Ponte Vecchio were some of the spots that I took them to before heading to the Piazzale Michelangelo, where we enjoyed one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen.
Here following you can see the other part of the prewedding photo shooting, that we did at the Four Seasons Hotel in Florence city centre and around the Giardini della Gherardesca, since the couple asked me for some posed and formal portraits to show their guests during their wedding that will take place next year.
