A sunrise walk in central Rome is a perfect idea for an engagement session: the light is soft and warm, the squares are (almost) empty and the city that wakes up is incredibly beautiful.
Veronica and Eric live in San Francisco, but during a trip to Italy they fell in love with the Eternal City and decided to plan their destination wedding there, precisely on the top of Monte Mario, at the gorgeous Villa Miani, that has a breathtaking view of the St. Peter Basilica. Since the wedding was going to take place outside the historic center, the couple did not want to miss the opportunity to take some photos around the lanes and squares of this enchanting city, so we arranged to meet at dawn the day before the wedding for the engagement photo shoot.
I sent them some itinerary proposals that touched the most beautiful and typical places of Rome and they chose the one that included some of their favorite locations: the Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum. I made the tour so that we were able to go everywhere by walk, with the help of a taxi only for the last stop, so that my clients could relax and enjoy the time we spent together.
I’m in love with these photos because I think they simultaneously depict the love between Veronica and Eric and the beautiful city in which they decided to celebrate it.
