Becca and Gene traveled all the way from Georgia to Lake Como for their 1 year wedding anniversary, that they decided to commemorate with a photo shoot! They were afraid of bad weather to prohibit them from taking photos, so we scheduled the session during their first day in the area, to have a backup plan during the days after. Anyways, we have been very lucky as the sun shined and the light was warm and soft.
They were looking for very romantic and airy photos which incorporate a lot of light and a touch of glamour, so I immediately thought Villa del Balbianello would have been the perfect location. I’ve worked at Villa del Balbianello a million times, but every time it’s like the first because this venue always enchants me with its incomparable beauty. The loggia with the arches overlooking the lake and mountains is just perfect for those photos that everyone would love to frame in the living room.
Becca is one of the most joyful girls I’ve ever met, so, when we arrived on the big terrace with the rounded shaped tree, I immediately envisioned her circling with her beautiful skirt… it just seemed the perfect place to highlight her feminine and sweet personality.
